This is looking good, is this for a class or personal project?

It's for class. I've been so sick lately I'm just catching up on all my school work now. Thanks, by the way. :)

Which class is this for? Always nice to see other 3d modeling majors at AAU. Seems like most people major in animation.

It's called Head Sculpting & Facial Expressions. I've noticed that too, seems like 80% of the students in our department are for animation. It's going to be a tough job market with so many animators. I just get more enjoyment out of modeling the characters, the animation part of my previous classes kind of bored me.

How is the Head Sculpting & Facial Expressions class, I saw it on the list? Have you taken Organic Modeling 1 or 2 yet? Im registered for Organic Modeling 1 for spring 2012.

I couldn't imagine being an animator, I don't enjoy it like I do modeling. From what I've been researching, a lot of companies hire for either character and environment modelers (seems like more environment than character modelers). And how do you like Zbrush? I've been using Mudbox but just purchased Zbrush because it looks like it has a lot more features than Mudbox.

Head Sculpting will definitely teach you how to model and pay attention to details. The class really helped me with my edge flow technique. I am taking Organic Modeling 1 right now, which is what the cat model is for on my website. I plan on taking the second part to that class this coming Spring.

Yeah I don't enjoy animating as much either. I'm learning my way around ZBrush and I'll have to say that I love it. I've never used Mudbox so I can't compare, but ZBrush is a lot of fun to use.
